Didactico: An E-commerce Store for Electronics and Maker Kits in Tunisia

Didactico is a Tunisian online store for electronics, robotics kits and development boards, serving students, makers and professionals under the promise “Inspire, Create, Invent”. Our web designer built the e-commerce website, in French, around one goal: helping shoppers find the right board or kit quickly and buy with confidence.

The goal

Electronics shoppers arrive knowing what they want, often a specific board from a specific brand. The store had to make searching and browsing fast, and remove the usual doubts about delivery, payment and after-sales support.

What we built

  • A prominent search bar in the header, with wishlist, cart (with the total in Tunisian dinars) and account always in reach
  • Simple navigation: Home, Categories, a business account area, Contact, Cart, Order tracking and Your improvements
  • Brand shortcuts for Arduino, micro:bit, Renardo, Raspberry Pi, Nvidia and STMicroelectronics, so shoppers can jump straight to their ecosystem
  • Three large “offer of the day” banners in the brand’s blue and yellow, each showing the product, so promotions get attention right away
  • A trust row below the fold: free delivery in Tunisia above a set order value, secure payment by card, and an after-sales service

Why it works for e-commerce

Clear categories, fast search, visible promotions and reassurance about delivery and payment are the basics of a store that converts. The design keeps them all on the first screen, with a clean white background that lets the products stand out.
